A blood Donation camp plays a vital role in saving lives by ensuring the availability of safe and sufficient blood for patients undergoing surgeries, accidents, childbirth complications, and treatment of serious illnesses. It creates awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation, encourages social responsibility, and promotes a culture of helping others. Blood donation camps also help hospitals maintain adequate blood reserves during emergencies and shortages while fostering unity, compassion, and community participation among donors
The objective of the 5G communication workshop is to provide participants with a clear understanding of the fundamentals and evolution of 5G technology, its architecture, and key components. The workshop aims to explain the advanced technologies used in 5G systems such as massive MIMO, beamforming, milli meter-wave communication, and network slicing. It also focuses on highlighting the major features of 5G including high data rates, ultra-low latency, and support for massive device connectivity. The Department of ECE organized an industrial visit to Kwality Photonics Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, one of India’s leading LED manufacturers. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to LED manufacturing processes, semiconductor packaging, quality testing, and current industrial practices in optoelectronics. The International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology (ICETET) was successfully organized by Department of ECE in association with ISTE on 09/6/2023 and 10/6/2023 at Narsimha Reddy Engineering College The conference aimed to provide a global platform for academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and students to exchange ideas, present research findings, and discuss recent advancements in engineering and technology. The conference commenced with an inaugural session, which included the welcome address by Professor Dr M.Shoban Associate Professor followed by the lighting of the lamp. The Chief Guest, Professor B Rajendhar Nayak Osmania University, delivered the inaugural address, highlighting the importance of innovation, interdisciplinary research, and emerging technologies in shaping the future of engineering and society. The keynote speakers shared valuable insights into current trends, challenges, and opportunities in various engineering domains. The Technical sessions covered diverse areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Data Science, Renewable Energy, Smart Systems, Communication Technologies, and Advanced Manufacturing. Researchers and students presented their original research papers, which were evaluated by expert reviewers. The presentations encouraged healthy discussions and knowledge sharing among participants.
The workshop on “IoT Using Arduino and Raspberry Pi” was conducted by the ECE Department Student Association (ELECSA) with the objective of providing participants a clear understanding of Internet of Things concepts and their real-time applications through hands-on training. The workshop aimed to equip learners with practical knowledge of Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms, sensor and actuator interfacing, data acquisition, and cloud connectivity, enabling them to design and develop basic IoT-based solutions. The Industrial visit “L&T Metro Rail” at Uppal metro depot, Nagole Hyderabad was organized by the department of ECE on 12/5/2023 Friday. Students explored the real time experience about the operations of Metro rail .Along with 2 faculty members visited the place by college bus •During the Visit the participants explored about the viaduct stations and depot area live operations, maintenance. •Participants explored the casting yard RMS Plant of the metro project •Participants explored the interactive sessions with engineers to clear the doubts about the challenges , in design and operations •The participants provided the awareness about the perceptiveness about the metro project from construction to operations to sustainability •The industrial visit of L&T Metro Hyderabad provided a strong platform for the students to understand about the class room knowledge and real time product building in urban in transport infrastructure. The Youth Conclave Sports Meet was successfully organized on March 3 and March 4 at NRCM in association with Student Activity committee. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among students while providing a platform to showcase their athletic talents. A variety of sports competitions, including major events, e.g., basketball, volleyball,tennikoit,Kabadi were conducted, drawing enthusiastic participation from over students across multiple departments. The collaboration with SAC ensured smooth coordination, efficient management of schedules, and proper support for participants and volunteers. Outstanding performances were recognized through certificates, medals, and trophies, motivating students to excel further. The workshop on Embedded Design Development with STM32 is to provide participants with in-depth theoretical knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in the design, development, and implementation of embedded systems using STM32 microcontrollers. The workshop aims to help students understand the internal architecture, pin configuration, clock systems, and memory organization of STM32 devices. It focuses on embedded C programming, use of STM32CubeIDE, and effective utilization of on-chip peripherals such as GPIO, timers, ADC, DAC, UART, SPI, I2C, and PWM. The program also emphasizes real-time system concepts, debugging techniques, and interfacing of sensors and actuators for practical applications.
